The Board of Elections & Registration is accepting applications for the June 17, 2025 Special Primary for Public Service Commission election. The deadline to accept applications is June 6, 2025. Since this is a special primary, voters who are elderly and disabled who are normally entitled to make one absentee application to have a ballot mailed to them. However, since this is a special election these voters will have to request an application for each election in the 2025 cycle. Applications are available on the county election website or by calling the elections office at 706-743-8954. Advance voting for the special primary will begin on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 and end on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Board of Elections office at 41 Fairground Road in Lexington.
